General Questions

1. Am I in your service area?

We service any residential or commercial location in Ocala,The Villages, Gainesville, Belleview and Williston. If you are outside of our normal service area, we may still consider your lawn if you are willing to pay a small travel fee in addition to the service fee. 

2. What sets you apart from other tree services?

3. What’s the booking process like?

Please contact us via email (see contact page) or call/text and we will negotiate a time/date and add you to our schedule.

4. Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully licensed and insured, so you’ll never have to worry. 

5. What are the benefits of tree trimming?

Tree trimming and pruning help trees to become healthier and stronger. They also help to improve the tree’s appearance and spruce up the look of your property altogether.

6. How often does my lawn need to be mowed?

To keep your lawn looking best year round, weekly mowing is advised in the spring and summer, biweekly in the fall, monthly in the winter.

7. Do you require a long-term contract? Or do you offer one-time services?

We do not require a long-term contract, but accept contracts of varying length and frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, seasonal) with varying discounts applied depending on the number of visits contracted. We also offer one-time services. Tree trimming, tree removal, and power-washing services are offered as one time services without a long-term contract.  Estimates are always free.

8. What happens when it rains or you get delayed?

Rain is the most common cause for any delays with your mowing. We do our best to work through light to medium amounts of rain, when safe, depending upon the upcoming forecast.  If we get behind for any reason, we will always be out the following day. We never skip properties or leave work incomplete due to delays.

9. What if we discover property damage?

Please inform us within 48 hours if any damage to your property is noticed.  The most common damage is done to hidden sprinkler heads. We will make a timely professional repair at our expense. We will not honor any request for repair expenses for damaged property that we were not made aware of and allowed to rectify beforehand. 

10. What’s your cancellation policy?

If clients wish to cancel their service, they must provide with a written notice, mail, or email 48 hours prior to the next service date. If clients wish to skip a service, Perez Tree Services and More needs at least 48 hours notice prior to the next service date. No same-day skips or cancellations will be accepted. 

11. What if I am not happy with the service?

All of our services are satisfaction guaranteed. If you are not happy with a service performed on your property, contact us right away. Depending on the need, we will correct the issue free-of-charge or refund you pro rata for the part of the service with which you are unsatisfied.

1. What kind of lawn work do you do?

Perez Tree Services and More offers full-service lawn care. We do just about everything: mowing, edging, weed-eating, blowing, weed removal, property clean up, mulching, sod installation, hedge trimming, and more!

2. What kind of tree work do you do?

We offer tree trimming, planting, shearing, and pruning. If you have a specific question about our tree services, fill out our contact form or give us a call.

3. Do you offer residential and commercial services?

Yes. We currently offer both residential and commercial services.

4. Do I need a permit for tree work?

Some tree work may require a permit to be completed. This varies from county to county. Our employees are knowledgeable on this topic and will work with you to determine whether you need a permit or not. 

5. Can you cut trees near power lines?

Yes, we can. Please reach out to us regarding any specific questions. We are happy to help!

6. Do I have to provide my own lawn care equipment?

No. Perez Tree Services and More provides all the necessary equipment to get the job done.

7. Does someone need to be home when you mow?

To make your life easier, we don’t require anyone to be home while your lawn is mowed. We just need access to all areas of your property that have grass.

8. What will you pressure wash?

We will pressure wash driveways, walkways, fences, walls, siding, decks, docks, and more. If you have a specific question, contact us and we’ll get back to you right away.

9. How often is pressure washing needed?

Yearly pressure washing is enough for most surfaces. However, depending on materials used to create the surface and the current condition of the surface, more frequent pressure washing may be needed. Our team of professionals is happy to help you make these decisions.

10. Can pressure washing damage my belongings?

When done correctly, pressure washing shouldn’t damage any of your possessions. Pressure washing only causes damage if used on incorrect surfaces or with bad technique. Our seasoned professionals can assure you that there will be no damage.

1. Do you offer free estimates?

2. How much do your services cost?

Services vary based upon factors including lawn size, services selected, and whether or not the client chooses a contract for recurring services. Please contact us via email, phone, or completing the contact form so that we can come out and provide a free quote. 

3. What does lot size mean and how does it help determine my price?

We base our prices on the size of your lot and square footage, before improvement. We make no adjustments for pools, landscaping, etc. despite the fact that these items actually increase the time required to service your lawn (due to the additional edging and line-trimming which require much more attention to detail than open mowing.) We price using this method, providing you with the simplest, most transparent method out there for taking care of your lawn service needs.
